Top Festively Gay Things to Do This Week (December 7 – 13, 2015)
We may not have snow on the ground, but NOLA in December is a winter wonderland of activities. Here are just a few of the festively gay things to do this week.

Get into the fashion of the holidays at GLAM, a 70’s Fashion Show Extravaganza benefitting La Ceiba Honduras. This event takes place at Blue Nile (532 Frenchman Street) from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m. This lively fashion show features Fashion Designers: Carolina Gallop, De’Andre Beverly, Keno Watson-Keno Kouture, John Delgadillo-Cutting Edge Diva, Jonathan Woods- Calamaty and *BEAU*APOC*. ‘Tis the season to snuggle up under the stars and celebrate the holidays. The W French Quarter presents their 4th Annual Naughty + Nice complimentary outdoor movie in the courtyard. Munch on movie-style small bites and sip warm cocktails from SoBou. Enjoy complimentary popcorn and roast your own s’mores! This year we’re showing “Love Actually.” A limited number of chairs will be available in the courtyard; however, guests are encouraged to bring their own collapsible chairs and blankets if it’s cold. If it rains, the movie will be moved under a covered location. Standard parking rates apply. The W French Quarter is located at 316 Chartres Street. The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company of New Orleans presents an immersive Bar Experience with Small Craft Warnings by Tennessee Williams and directed by Augustin J Correro. The show will be held at Mag’s 940 (940 Elysian Fields Ave.). Enter a dive bar named Monk’s Place where you’ll spend this night when the fog is too thick to travel by land or sea. Loneliness et) and longing envelope the night spot and cozy right up to its patrons–a band of the strange, the crazed, the queer–as they confess their most sad, sordid and comical confidences. You’ll be right in the thick of it at Monk’s Place. This production is an immersive environmental experience in which you’ll be just inches away from the characters. You can enjoy drinks along with them as the skeletons come a tumbling out of their closets and at your feet. Belle Reve is proud to announce their 4th annual drag show extravaganza at Cafe Istanbul in the Healing Center (2372 Saint Claude Avenue) for another amazing performance from some of the best drag queens in New Orleans. So join this party with a purpose to raise money for the homeless adults and families that are served at Belle Reve New Orleans.
Individual Tickets are $10 and admit one person to the event. There are also a limited number of VIP Tables which seat four guests and offer a front-row view of the show for $100. The Running of the Santas returns to the Warehouse District for an unbelievable day of events. DRINK SPECIALS AT ALL LOCATIONS! The opening act will be Miss LA Leatherette 2016 Vanessa Carr. Come out and enjoy the food and entertainment. There is a $15 Donation.
