Join the LGBT Community Center to celebrate their silver anniversary! It’s been 25 years of service for the LGBT Community Center.  Established December 12, 1992 on Rampart Street we are happy to continue on in our new home in Broadmoor! The evening will include light hor d’oeuvres, cocktails and performances! Star Wars Trivia To Benefit NO/AIDS Task Force: Treo; 3835 Tulane Avenue; 6 p.m.

This month John will be hosting alongside guest host Adam O’Connor for an all things Star Wars trivia! All proceeds will go to benefit the No AIDS Task Force!  $5 per person to play. Teams can be up to 6 people, and we will have some fun raffle prizes including to tickets to get on the bus leaving Finn McCool’s Irish Pub for an early viewing of the new Stars Movie on the following night! Registration begins at 6:30pm, and the quiz will start shortly after 7pm.

The Carnival Kings have a new show to tantalize and tease your senses. Tony Leggio is a born and raised New Orleanian. He has over 20 years of event management experience having produced over 5,000 events locally and nationally. Tony has received numerous awards for his outstanding achievements in the hospitality industry. Besides his professional career, Anthony has played an active role in the community.He has served Event Chair of Art Against AIDS for the No/Aids Task Force for the past ten years and was honored as Humanitarian of the Year in 2010 by the organization. He is also a freelance writer who has written for USA Today, as well as several local publications.He also writes a column regularly In Ambush Magazine, plus is part of Gambit’s Big Easy Theatre Committee.Tony is a social butterfly of New Orleans that not only knows how to put on a great event but also knows how to enjoy one.
