The Gay Carnival Krewe of Armeinius hosted the opening of Looped starring Elizabeth Bouvier and Greg Nacozy at the Valiant Theatre on Thursday, August 17.  It was a fun filled evening of merriment as krewe members mixed and mingled with supporters at one of the funniest comedies this year.

Formed in 1969, Armeinius is one of the oldest gay carnival organizations known for its sparkling and breathtaking costumes, entertaining tableaus and fabulous fundraisers.  The opening for Looped was no exception as the audience gave the actors a well deserved standing ovation.  All proceeds of their fundraisers go to the production of their 50th anniversary ball that will be held on February 10, 2018 at Mardi Gras World.  The theme this year is Nouvelle Orleans: 300 Years of Fabulous.
